Tiivistelmä
The case company is globally known brand which has multiple factories and working sites. There has been found information gaps between factories and this thesis focused to find those gaps and fill them. This way the information reach rate could have improved and overlapping work avoided which creates more effective working environment.
The thesis uses Active Research method where the researcher is in part of the process. It also utilises data collection with the one round of interviewing people working with the process and software used by process. From these results there were formed couple ideas to move forward and improve the data sharing protocol.
Thesis outlines narrowed down a lot during the thesis work. This was caused by lack of awareness about the complexity of the topic. The thesis plan was to study multiple factories and interactions between them. Other factories were cut out on midway of the thesis, since multiple improvement spots was recognized at the Headquarter site PEOY. After this the thesis focused to improve current protocol from Headquarters point of view.
