Tiivistelmä
The objective of this thesis project was to design and implement a user friendly website for a client company to create visibility in online and strengthen the company’s credibility. The client was OTSO, a manufacturer of sauna benches which prioritizes the ecological use of raw. The main stakeholders of this thesis are the client, their business partners and clients, who now have a platform for their products.
The development task involved analyzing the client’s business needs, defining the website requirements and creating the site accordingly. This development process was planned and implemented according to a qualitative theoretical framework model, which is based on 7 steps of web development models, user centred UX design principles and business needs of the company.
Usability testing indicated that the resulting website is intuitive and clear. The development work for the website continues after the thesis at the client’s request.
