Globalization process especially in the economic field has made countries and territories become borderless, distances have been shortened in recent years,and promoted the movement of people on the world that labours are encouraged mostly. Especially, the role of labour migration in developing countries has become a major issue of policy in term of economic development. Into those flows, Vietnam, a developing country in East-north Asia, has promoted the international labour migration as an important aspect of development. The goal of this research was to bring a fair view about development of the labour migration from Vietnam, within the development of Vietnam economy. This research‘s purpose also wants to play a small part for deciding trends in future of this economic field, help for the development of Vietnam economic more.
This bachelor‘s thesis is a qualitative research. Therefore, desktop researching is very important in this thesis, besides referenced theory from literatures, because most of quantity were summarized from secondary data. In addition, the thesis would be done mostly in experimental research strategy through comparing the reality of the international labour migration from Vietnam with trends of labour migration on the world under economical vision. The research project also gave a right view about the ability of this field in future economy by analyzing the research and interviewing some migrant workers.
The thesis has given a reality view of labour migration to Vietnamese economy. It has showed that not only quantity of labours and remittances could estimate the success but also empirical states reflected in very different aspects. The thesis also proved the complex of labour migration in the economy which inquired to be carried out on logical and reasonable policies, be placed not only economic profits but also fair and human right.
